Hi! I'm Kevin Barrick. I come from North Carolina, but now I live in Ethiopia, Africa teaching children English and tutor Math. I volunteer with an organization called Unforgotten Faces. For a more thorough grasp of who this organization is, follow the link provided. But for now, let me tell you a little. First off, they work with one particular school and take in students to tutor in all subjects. These students are chosen from among student who need the most help. Currently there are 40 children to whom Unforgotten Faces ministers. Each day there are two hot meals provided. The schools there are split into half days. Thus, after all students come in for breakfast, a portion go off to school while the rest remain for tutorial classes. After lunch there is a switch off and the tutoring students go off to school and the others students return to the compound and begin their tutoring. In addition to that, Unforgotten Faces works with the families to develop business sense and assist them into embracing a thriving personal business.

My role as a volunteer will be mainly focused as a teacher of English to students of a foreign language. On off days I will tutor in Mathematics.
